Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Tripping Vibe Digital Private Limited collects when you use giftycodes.com, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

• Your mobile number. It is how you sign in — we send a one-time code to it. We need it to identify your account and your orders.
• Your email address, where you give us one, so we can send your cards, receipts and invoices.
• Order details — what you bought, when, for how much, and any recipient name and contact you asked us to deliver to.
• Payment outcome. Our payment gateway tells us whether a payment succeeded and gives us a reference. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN, CVV or bank credentials.
• Business account details where you register a company: company name, GSTIN, address and the details of the people you authorise.
• Technical data — IP address, browser and pages visited — used to keep the site working and to detect fraud.

Why we hold it

• To issue and deliver the cards you paid for.
• To prove who revealed a card and when, which protects you if an order is disputed.
• To issue the Bill of Supply for your order, which Indian tax law requires us to keep.
• To detect and stop fraud — gift cards are a common target, and limits on unusual ordering protect genuine customers.
• To answer you when you contact support.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed, only with parties who need it to deliver your order:

• The card issuer or its distributor, to issue your card — the recipient's name and contact where the card is delivered directly to them.
• Our payment gateway, to take payment.
• Our email and messaging providers, to deliver cards and one-time codes.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

How we protect card details

Gift card numbers and PINs are encrypted where they are stored. They are masked everywhere they are displayed to staff, and viewing one in full requires a fresh one-time code and writes a record of who viewed it. They are never written to our logs and never included in exports.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires. Account details are kept while your account is open. Technical logs are kept for a short period and then removed.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. Write to hello@giftycodes.com from the email or mobile number on the account.

Some data we cannot delete on request: invoices and the records behind them must be retained for the period tax law specifies. We will tell you if that applies to your request.

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work — keeping you signed in, keeping your cart, and protecting forms against cross-site request forgery. Blocking these will stop the site working.

Children

The site is not intended for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
